Meet Dr. Dunn

Quality is not expensive - it's priceless
Quality is a trait that all of us desire. We want the satisfaction of knowing we have purchased something attractive and of lasting value. Quality is the basis of our orthodontic practice and I look forward to meeting you to determine what type of service is best for you and your family.. When we create beautiful smiles, it makes wonderful memories and life-long friendships. My staff and I are committed to making your orthodontic treatment one of the best memories of your life!
A quality education makes a strong foundation for the future
Receiving a quality education is one of the best ways to ensure excellent patient care. I have been practicing orthodontics for over 27 years. I received specialty training in my orthodontic residency and each year I take continuing education. This education and experience provides the solid foundation for the specialty care I am able to deliver today.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Human Anatomy from Pacific Union College. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University. I continued my education at Loma Linda University in the Orthodontic Residency program and earned my Master of Science Degree and specialty certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and graduated magna cum laude.
Committed to excellence
Each year, I continue to take more then 60 hours of continuing education because my desire is to remain current in the latest technological developments in my specialty. In addition to continuing my own education, I help to educate future generations of orthodontist by teaching at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.
Excellence in the orthodontic community
It has been my honor to receive the CDA Table Clinic Research Award and the Foundation for Orthodontic Research Award. It has also been my privilege to publish articles in the American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics as well as the opportunity to make various continuing education presentations. My membership in several professional associations includes:
- American Association of Orthodontics
- Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists
- American Dental Association
- California Dental Association
- Tulare Kings Dental Society
- LLU Orthodontic Alumni Association (past president)
Personal Information
As a native of California, I live in Visalia along with my wife, Anne. We have four children, Eric, Justin, Heather and Katelyn. At our house we have our own "zoo" that includes three dachshunds, a bird and a fish. When Im not in the office, I love to be outdoors, gardening, hiking, running and snow skiing. Did you know that Disneyland is one of my favorite places and I refuse to let the "kid in me" grow up because I continue to enjoy model trains, planes and playing sports.
